C section scar hurting at 4 months post

So I had a c-section back in October, and ever since, it sometimes feels like it’s burning and itches a lot, and my waist band are irritates it (I had a vertical surgery) It’s very very red, not the skin around it but the scar itself. I’ve had very serious surgeries (heart, foot, stomach) back when I was 16 but I don’t remember the healing process. My heart surgery scar is still red after +15 years, so I’m assuming what I’m experiencing now is normal?
