Our landlord just decided to move forward with an accessory unit in our backyard, about 20 feet between the main house where we live. Construction will likely be 8-5pm and last 4 months. House windows are newer but of course not sound proof. I want to say it’s not worth moving with me at 33 weeks and no family nearby to help with a move. We received ONE week notice.

Anyone have experience with a newborn and nearby construction? Any tips? I’m just worried baby won’t be able to sleep. I already sleep with a white noise machine due to nearby trains, ha! I’m guessing it will impact me the most, such as napping, since I’m a light sleeper and won’t be able to use my earplugs so I can hear baby. I hate renting!
