So I have a teenage cousin who was an avid tiktok user. About a year ago she posted some alarming videos referencing doing serious harm to herself. Out of concern for her safety I reached out to my aunt to let her know that I was concerned.

She deleted all of her videos except for about 9, she took a hiatus from tiktok for a few months, posted a few more videos and then stopped again. I still occasionally check her profile, just to check in and see how shes doing. As of recently I noticed about 9 new to me videos that popped up that I'm guessing were once private? Would she have had to mark them public herself or can the app release the videos on their own?

I'm sorry, I'm not very up to date on this app and not sure how it works.
