Can someone explain the Ramzi Theory?

I’m not going to lie, I’ve done minimal research on this because I’ve never had the opportunity to put it to use in my pregnancies. Could someone explain it to me, like the “for dummies” version? Lol we just got our first ultrasound for baby #2 yesterday and since a lot of our friends and family are already putting in their guesses I thought it’d be fun to see what you guys think:

So based on that information, I’d say that this circled region looks like where the placenta is forming Bc it’s thicker (whiter) here.

Which it sort of looks like it’s on the bottom, but I’d say in the pic a *little* more swaying to the right of the picture, so if we flip the image like the article says, I’d say it’s on your lower middle-left. So boy?

So, here’s my first ultrasound. Transvaginal.

The ultrasound tech said that the circled area seems to be where the placenta is forming. 
So based on the articles I read and this scan, I’d say mine is telling me, boy? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Unless I’m just totally backward. 🤔
