My doctor offered it to me and I’ve been considering it, but I’m also terrified of the results and that they might make me dread the rest of my pregnancy. I know that sounds horrible, and i really don’t mean for it to. I’m just a worrier. I have one uncle with down syndrome and as far as I know he’s the only one in the family. My sister did not have this done during her pregnancy. I was just curious as to how many people actually get it done and if maybe talking to my doctor about what my risks are could help me decide.
