My son is a senior in high school and he's gotten his girlfriend, she's a year younger than him, pregnant. I have to admit that this is mainly my fault and her father's fault. I took my son's condoms away when he was 17 in December when I found them and her father kept punishing her too. I guess because I got pregnant at 16 I tried to keep my son from having sex as an adolescent. He told me this morning that his girlfriend is pregnant and I just started crying and I told him to get out. He begged with me but I told him to pack and I called his 24 year old sister to get him. I regret how I reacted but I can't bring myself to pick up the phone. My son had his whole life ahead of him, we had so many plans and expectations for him.
