No ultrasound until 12 weeks

I won’t be getting an ultrasound with this babe until 12 weeks. For my first, I got one at 6 weeks by my doctor but this time around I’m using a midwife right from the start.

I find myself struggling with just the unknown.. whether or not baby is okay in there especially after seeing so many posts from people about their babies not growing after a certain point.

It just doesn’t feel real yet without seeing that babe and it’s heartbeat. Even though the nausea and exhaustion is a constant reminder.

Is anyone else waiting until 12 weeks to see baby? Just looking for some insight or positive thoughts.
