Too much sleep for newborn?

Question

Most days my baby will sleep all day and all night and I wake her up every 3 hours to feed/diaper change/clean her up etc. is this okay or should I make her stay awake more often? Is too much sleep a thing for a newborn?

Totally normal.
Keeping a newborn up will not make them sleep better.  It will make them over tired, cranky and unable to settle and you will then both be tired!
It’s too early to get a routine.  Just enjoy the quiet while they sleep, sleep when they sleep and enjoy the cuddles when you get them!
All too soon you will be dreaming of the day your baby slept 18 hours a day! Ours is only 5 weeks and already that 18 hours is less and less each day!
