Anybody ever swapped doctors in third trimester?

I’m thinking of swapping to an entirely different office/ doctor. I’m 33 weeks. Many things have provoked this just wondering how smooth sailing it’ll be since I’m pretty far along. 
Will the new dr want to re run all the blood testing+ultrasounds or just jump right in?

I switched at 33 because we moved. It can be done but I had to call like 10 different offices before one worked out, I was scared I was left with no doctor for about a month because I was already officially discharged as a patient from my first doctor but the new ones didn’t have availability for some time.
Most doctors have a policy where they don’t take patients after 20 weeks, something about it being a liability for them? I couldn’t just call and schedule, they all would say to send my records and the doctor would get back to me on if the doctor would make an exception and take me or not...and then I could talk about availability and many had no new patient slots for a few weeks. Then also making sure they took my insurance too...
They said it would be hard to switch but I didn’t know it would be like that!! I asked what to do if they didn’t take me and one office lady said I would just have to show up at the ER when I went into labor...
Well finally I did find one amazing doctor who took me no question! He actually cares and is known for taking people no one else will. 
If you aren’t happy with your current doctor it’s definitely worth it to be with someone better. Just down sign any discharge paper until you have the new one lined up

I switched OBs at 35 weeks and he received all my paperwork and labs before my appt and jumped right in. Even did extra tests he felt were necessary but nothinn major

I did.
Get all your paperwork BEFORE you switch. It took forever to get mine despite me making tons of annoying phone calls.
