Glucose challenge failed

Hi!

I’m 11 weeks and my doctor asked me to get OGCT and thyroid done as I have history of diabetes in my family.

I was supposed to have 75g glucose and do the test post 2hrs.

I had the glucose and slept for an hour and the blood was drawn after around 2 hours 15minutes.

The results are 174mg/dl which is more than the range.

I’m just scared and wondering as I wasn’t prepared for the test I didn’t mind the diet and had some sweets n carb the day before. Could that have led to spike? Or tht I have slept after drinking glucose would have affected?
