Baby suddenly rejecting one breast?

So since yesterday evening, my 6 month old suddenly started refusing to nurse on the left side. I can't seem to figure out why. There's plenty of milk in it, he just doesn't want it. I've never had this problem before, and I don't know how to get him to take the left side again. He just pulls away and cries every time I try to feed him on that side.

My baby preferred one boob than the other & it was more so the position, so maybe try to feed from a different position & see if that works. It temporarily worked for me then she wanted that Same boob so I ended up pumping the other as she fed from the main one so my boobs stayed even with feedings!

Mine did that at 8 months. One day he decided he would only take the left side. Two days later he wouldn't take either. Two days later he would take the left again. The next day he was back to normal- would take both no problem. I think it was a transition thing- I had just gone back to work after 2 weeks home with him and my period was about to arrive for the first time pp. I kept pumping and offering him both sides and after a bit it's like it never happened. I was super stressed out though.

My daughter did this, randomly when she was about 4 or 5 months.  Basically her neck got tight and she didn't want to keep her head in that position.  I pumped on the side she was refusing and played games with her to get her to turn her head the direction it would be during nursing on that side. She also goes to the chiropractor with me, and he helped loosen the muscles back up.

I've tried all the different positions I can think of. He hates football, he'll at least look at it sitting but won't actually latch on, our typical cradle position he pulls away and cries, laying down he tries to roll away, nothing seems to be doing the trick. I just can't figure out why it's only a problem now, all of a sudden, after 6 months of being fine with both sides. 🤷‍♀️ I've been pumping to try to keep both sides even, but I hate doing that because it takes up so much extra time, and sometimes I just dont have that time. He did do ok on it this morning, but still ate better on the right side. He rejected it all evening yesterday and all night also.

Try the football hold on the side that's bring rejected, it may be that baby is uncomfortable. Or laying down nursing. Also if you have a haakaa then you can use that to stay even or pump. My son was a lefty lol and I didnt want to pump and increase that sides production by alot so I used the haakaa to keep balance. My left started to produce more and I could only nurse on the right if we were laying down together or football hold until he got to squirmy.
