Low TCH (Hyper active thyroid)
So a little concerned had blood work done for heart palpitations and everything came back OK except slight anemia but my TCH number was .11 and the lowest it’s supposed to be as .40-which they’re sending me to a endocrinologist to check for hyper active thyroid. The weird thing was I just had it checked in November at my yearly physical before I was pregnant and the number was completely in range. So of course I’m panicked a little bit until my appointment, but I also read that it could be normal in the first trimester because of hCG and then it goes back to normal in the second. But if it doesn’t then there’s higher risk? Anyone ever experienced this?
