Possible preeclampsia?

I’m currently sitting in the Labor and Delivery room with possible preeclampsia at 38+4 weeks pregnant. 
I originally was scheduled for a weekly routine check up and my midwife noticed my ankles were very swollen. My blood pressure was 126/87 which she considered borderline and compared it to my “normal” bp which was so much higher this time. Also, she mentioned I have protein in my urine.
I’m a little nervous because this morning I was feeling a bit light headed and a had a small headache here and there. To me it was nothing alarming however now that I put it all together it might make sense why I am here.. 
What were you ladies symptoms or preeclampsia if any were present? I’m here and starting to feel a little sick but it can also be mental. I’m a first time mom and wasn’t expecting this at all.

126/87 isn't high blood pressure, and isn't even close to preeclamptic numbers. My numbers were higher than that even at 23 weeks. When I was diagnosed with preeclampsia it was 180/110 at 39 weeks and I had to deliver. If your urine and blood work come back ok, you don't have preeclampsia.

That is not high bp. When I got pre-e it was 150/85 to start and would sometimes spike higher. I had lots of swelling, but no other symptoms. My BP did go down after they sent me to the hospital for monitoring but the protein in my urine was high and so they induced me right then. I was 37 weeks. 
I’m now pregnant with #2 and I’ll be 35 weeks tomorrow. At my appointment yesterday my bp was 137/80 when it’s normally only around 115/68, and I’m now getting trace amounts of protein in my urine (haven’t had any this time until now) and even with my history, my doctor says this wasn’t a BP that required further investigation. All she’s going to do is have me come back in one week instead of 2.

Try to relax, your blood pressure isn’t high at all. And the more you stress yourself out about it the higher it’s going to get. Some swelling is a normal part of pregnancy as well as a headache here and there.
I had mild pre e and my bp started out normal but by my third trimester I was getting readings like 150/100 180/120 etc and I had some protein in my urine and swelling. I also had decreased movement but other than those things I felt fine. 
What you want to look out for is a big spike in blood pressure that doesn’t go down after a couple of readings. A terrible migraine that doesn’t go away even if you take medicine. Sudden and severe swelling out of nowhere, especially in the hands and face. Nausea, vomiting, and lightheaded ness out of the norm from what you’re used to. 
I’m sure you’re fine, but if you’re worried give you doctor a call or go to L&D to check everything out.

I was admitted for monitoring when I was 37 weeks for what they thought was preeclampsia. I went in for a regular appointment and I hadn’t been feeling well. I had a headache and I was super tired but thought whatever. The nurse took my blood pressure and said it was slightly elevated so the doctor would retake it.  (I was already anxious because I had a lot of questions for my doctor and when I got there they decided my doctor was too far behind so I’d be seeing a doctor I didn’t know). She came in saying I was going home on blood pressure meds and they were setting an induction for the next week (cue panic) then she took my blood pressure again... as you can imagine it was 200/180. They sent me straight to the hospital and said they were going to watch me overnight and do a c section the next day. I continued to feel bad but once I got to the hospital my blood pressure leveled out. I did a 24 hour urine test at the hospital and then took it home for another 12 hours. I ended up being totally fine, I was just having an off day. Hopefully that’s all yours is!!!

I also gained 10lbs in 4 days and had bad enough swelling on my ankles my feet started bruising

I had a headache that lasted no matter what I took, I couldn't see correctly out of my left eye. My bp was 167/102. I didn't have massive amounts of protein in my urine though
