Cold sore or pimple?

I’ve never had a cold sore in my life and have been with the same guy for almost 6 years (not even remotely thinking anything negative here). I noticed it all of a sudden yesterday morning thinking it was a pimple and then when I got home tried to pop it. I’ve been putting Say Yes To pimple stickers on it all day. I’m a major hypochondriac and freaking out that this could be a cold sore.

Update‼️ Still convinced it’s a pimple? The upper lip is affected now as well

I'm an esthetician...it's a pimple love. Leave it alone and stop using whatever you're putting on it. Just keep the area clean (wash your face twice a day with a good facial cleanser (not body soap), toner and moisturizer)....you'll be good money. Most importantly try not to pick at it. Our hands are grosser than you realize. Sounds like you tried to pop it with dirty fingers. I know it's hard but like I tell my clients with this very look 🤨....if you dont leave that shit alone.

It appears to be a cold sore. Cold sores, when they first bloom tend to look alot like pimples. You made a horrible error by picking at it. In doing this, you've likely spread the virus and its infected more of the tissue on the bottom lip and the top as well. 
Dont pick at it anymore, the virus load in the serum (the yellowish clear fluid inside the pustule) is VERY contagious. Dont kiss, dont share utensils, and dont touch your privates or his after touching your mouth as you can spread it to your genitalia.  Wash your hands and throw out all the lip balms used after the outbreak is over.
For now you can apply peppermint oil in a carrier to the affected area 3-5xs daily. Keep it moisturized and it will be completely gone within 2 weeks.
In the meantime you might want to make an appointment with your dr. Tell him about the sorry and he can prescribe you Valtrex which can halt another outbreak next time.
