I think I had my period while pregnant? Advice

January 2nd I took a test 2 days before period was due. Got my period right on time, but it was weird? It wasn’t like my normal period it was on/off but it was red blood. Anyways I never retested bc I just figured evap line. This month comes around, I don’t get my period. 5 days late today. I took a test and it was instantly positive! Like I could see the positive line before the pink dye was even passed it. It’s pretty dark too. Opinions? Did I have chemical pregnancy in January and get lucky this month or is it the same pregnancy?
