Burping bf babies

Supposedly they swallow less air bf but I can hear my guy swallow so much air - maybe from my fast let down ro the fact that there’s a lot of milk right now and he’s barely a month old and he cries so much until he burps but I don’t always get a burp so after like 5-10 min i just sit with him on my shoulder and hold him upright for like another 10 plus min —- how long do I need to be doing that ? He spits up sometimes when I do or don’t so I can’t figure it out 😔

I’ve tried chair position and over the shoulder and watches u tube videos on burping I jsut suck at it and feel bad cuz I know my baby needs burps and I’m trying my best but often I fall asleep or am just desperate for sleep so I put him down and then I hear gurgling noises and then I feel even worse that he’s spitting up after h put him down or while I’m changing his diaper 😰
