Visiting Friends & Family
Out of curiosity... if you choose to travel to visit family or friends out of town, do you expect to stay with them, or have them pay to put you up in a hotel/Airbnb?
After posting something, I’m seeing a common trend of people saying that it’s your job as “host” when someone visits you from out of town to either assume they’re planning on staying with you in your home OR you’re responsible for paying for their hotel arrangements. This is so new to me and I’m curious to know if this is the norm?
