Bartholin cyst????

I’m not sure what to do about the cyst, can anyone else relate???

Yes I can relate I’ve tried every remedy and have had to get a couple lanced and one time a word catheter placed. Witch hazel soaked cotton ball with a couple drops of tea trea oil placed on area, of you can’t take baths all day take a hot hands (hand warmer) put it over the cotton ball, repeat until it bursts or if it is too painful get it lanced. Some people have tried Prid, others use what is called phoebes method, some use coconut oil, sitz baths, tumeric, lol the list goes on. Unfortunately once you get one they most likely reoccur will come back it sucks. You can private messege me if you need more info, I feel like I’ve become a specialist on these things. I’ll try and send you a link on a forum where many women share what has helped them.

Mine was the size of an egg, I couldn’t walk, sit, lay, bathe, pee etc. I was in absolute agony. I had mine cut out as having them drained means it can reoccur and I was not interested in having that again.

Currently off work for two weeks in recovery after one so I completely relate. Warm baths, witch hazel etc. But monitor it closely. The minute you grow concerned go and see someone. It’s awful once it gets so big it needs draining. Big hugs. I know this is such an awful thing to have x

I had surgery to have mine removed postpartum. I was put under GA.

My girlfriend had to have medical intervention for hers and have a drain placed in for it to go away. I guess it depends on how long you’ve had it and how painful it is- you may want to see a doctor either way.
