TTC after Paraguard IUD

Looking for input and other people’s experiences with this IUD and getting pregnant after it’s removal. I currently have the paraguard and my husband and I will be ready to TTC for baby #2 this fall. I’m wanting to know how if I should get it removed a few cycles before we’re ready or if I can wait until the “very last second” and still get pregnant. Our first baby we got pregnant on the first try so I’m not sure how to plan for the second one effectively. If it helps, I’m 28 and he’s 30.
