Losing sleep

My baby is 6 weeks old and has slept with me since day 1. I've been wanting to get him into his pack n play but every single time I lay him down he wakes up and screams. He's also only sleeping for about 10 minutes at a time during the day and an hour at a time at night. I literally do not know what to do. He wont sleep on his back, he'll go onto his side, he won't stay asleep, and will only sleep with me. Im losing sleep and I'm losing my mind. Idk how to help him
