Awhile back my boyfriends female coworker came to my baby shower, cool beans whatever, she gave us like a $40 gift card, awesome. Then she gave us another 40 for our new baby. Sweet! Well my boyfriend was being sketch and I read messages between the two and they were pretty foul and disrespectful. Mentioning how it should be her in his bed and not me. It was mainly her but I gave him hell for letting it go on. 
Fast forward i thought he cut her off but it turns out he cashapped her $150 for her new baby. 
I’m fuming. But it feels like I should get over it because it’s for her baby yknow? And he works in a tight knit group so there is no escaping her. What do you think?

Sorry but that’s disgusting on both their parts. That’s far to outrageous and my partner wouldn’t ever give another women money for her child even he would find that extremely strange. It sounds like something is going on and she gave you money for the baby because she feels bad

maybe i’m an asshole but how i see it is my bfs coworkers are just coworkers. i’m not here to be friends with ppl at work because i am more comfortable keeping home and work SEPARATE. there’s absolutely NO REASON or excuse to have a female coworker be too comfortable or too friendly to a taken male coworker. it’s freaking disrespectful and rude. it was HER choice to give you 80$ as a gift but she didn’t have too. just like how it was inappropriate (yes. inappropriate imo) to give someone twice as much when y’all are having a kid. 
the messages are another thing. i’d be extremely suspicious that he might be cheating. id ask.
