What are you doing ?!

Question

Tell me what your weekend looks like. Aside from cooking and cleaning. We live where the air hurts our faces so getting outside is slim to none! We have a 4.5 yo and 18mo. We are guilty for starring at our phones and always having the TV on. Whether actually watching it or just on for noise. 
Both our girls bedrooms and toys are downstairs. So they have a tough time being down there alone playing. I also do home daycare so the laundry and dishes are always kept up on. 
So my question again... what do you do on the weekends with your children!?
Are you playing with your children? If so, what are you playing? 
Bringing them to sports? If so, what do you do when you’re not at sports!
I’m going crazy lately!

We have a 20 month old. Yesterday, my husband took him to a college friend’s and they played with his kids and had lunch. The rest of the day we played with him. Today we played at home most of the day and are going to my parents’ house for dinner. We read books, pretend to stir food in bowls, and watch him go down a toddler slide pretty much on repeat. We watched one episode of furchester hotel today after he fell and hit his head.

My husband, son and I go grocery shopping and have a family date day. We sometimes go to museums or theme parks when weather is warm. 
We don’t allow TV on while our son is awake. He’s 3. He’s not allowed TV. We typically stay off our phones as well unless it’s nap time or he’s in bed. It’s kind of crappy to be glued to a phone and not interacting with your child. 
We play with him constantly. We build with him. He can read independently and write so sometimes I do classroom work with him. We are learning addition. I’ll typically spend an hour teaching him new things because he has a very large playroom, so 1/2 of it is a classroom. 
When my husband and I are cooking, he is in the kitchen with us, playing with his toys.  We color with him, read with him, etc. 
He will be starting soccer soon so on warm days he’s outside playing. We have a large backyard with a swing set and play sets. 
We also go to the fitness center with him and swim a lot. He climbs the rock wall, we do yoga classes with him, etc. 
There is a lot to do where we live so we take every opportunity to do them with him. We are very family oriented.
He loves art supplies so he loves to paint. He paints a lot with watercolors, and we wash the canvas off and he starts all over. 
No one is ever bored in our home.

Yesterday we had a lazy day. Snow day in Georgia (few and far between) and I was sick so we sat around in pajamas and played and watched movies. Today, my son went to his Sunday swim lessons and now we’re at his favorite park since today it’s 60 degrees and sunny and any trace of snow is gone.

I have a 20 month old. Our days home are mostly playing with his toys and reading books. I will put on Daniel Tiger sometimes, but he doesn’t sit still long enough to watch it usually.

I also live where the air hurts my face lmao 🇨🇦.
We usually wake up around the same time we do all week (around 7 ish) and have a slow morning with TV and play time and have breakfast around 9. 
On saturdays I usually work from 11 to 4 ish (teaching dance classes) and I have my 4 year old daughter with me because she has a class as well so I keep her with me.  
My husband has the two younger kids and takes our son to swim class and then either he’ll go grocery shopping for the week with them or take them somewhere special ie build-a-bear or for ice cream, changes every week. 
Sometimes we’ll play outside or go for a walk (very well dressed 🥶) 
In our area there’s a lot of indoor activities for kids as well, trampoline parks and waterparks, those are fun (but expensive). 
They also love going to the library and we’ll sit with them and read books, there’s also storytime once a week, fun crafts that they can make and get to take home.
On Sundays I like to go see my family and spend time with them, we’ll usually go out for lunch and then let all the kids play together for a bit.

My sons almost 2 & we just play with wrestle or we read. We color sometimes or I’ll chase him around. Sometimes my son & I will cuddle on the couch & watch a show or movies. We will listen to music or I’ll teach him his ABCs.
