Weird question, sorry in advance!!

Will be 39 weeks tomorrow plus i have an appointment don’t really know whats gonna happen since i was at the hospital last week with contractions and 3cm, so hopefully good news comes tomorrow. But anyways, the question is what is “nipple simulation “? Im sorry i might look stupid asking this but i guess it’s something women’s do to induce or help induce but i could barely touch my boobs cause they hurt bad.☹️ I have been feeling alot of pressure in my pelvis i cant walk that much anymore cause i could feel my bones move im afraid i could hurt my baby, plus ive been having alot of contractions so hopefully she will be here soon. But if the “nipple Simulation “ is something that will help I would love to know how it work and what do i have to do. Thank you in advance!
