When did your milk supply level out ?

I just had my second baby 5 days ago. my milk came in 3 days ago. With my first I exclusively pumped from pretty much the beginning due to latch issues , but I had and very large oversupply. This time my baby is a great nurser but I already am struggling with very engorged breasts , clogged ducts and lots of pain, which I know if normal at the beginning, but I’m just worried about getting mastitis or some type of infection .

At what point does your supply usually level out ?

And what can I do durning this time to make sure I don’t get in infection? I worry about pumping too much along with nursing and making my think it needs to continue to make more milk
