Shaving?

This might be weird idk... But I'm still a teen and I'm not sure how to shave down there... Anytime I try I get red bumps and ingrowed hairs... Does anyone have any tips or tricks?...

Just keep in mind, it is not necessary to shave down there. And the hairs are meant to help keep bacteria out. (I started shaving when I was a teen too) also know don't do it for anyone else but yourself and if you're comfortable doing it. 
That in mind, usually people use hair conditioner, and shaving with your hair rather than against it. That'll stop it from getting irritated and cause less ingrown hairs. 
I stopped shaving because my skin is so sensitive it didn't matter what I did, I would always get red and bumpy and constantly itchy. Want worth it. Now I just get small sharp scissors and trim really short. Still "good looking" but without all the awful side effects of shaving

What I do to prevent this is I wait until near the end of my shower to shave so that way the hot water makes the hair softer start by exfoliating this really dose help and if you don’t have exfoliators you can make one really easy at home there’s many YouTube videos you can look at than I usually use a hair conditioner if I have no shaving cream then I start by shaving downwards to cut the hair short and then I rinse and had more conditioner and shave upwards slowly to get a close clean shave than rinse then after my shower I use rubbing alcohol and dab it on with my towel just patting it on it does sting a little for only a second but this kills any bacteria that causes the bumps and this is what mainly has helped me a lot just make sure you don’t get this on your actual vagina because who knows how that would be but with the ingrown hairs tight clothing like underwear or pants can cause in growns
