Will your baby’s gender impact the color/design of your diaper bag?

I’m having a boy and am planning on getting a light pink bag I think is cute. I always thought the bag was more relevant to the parent’s gender/preferences, but saw a comment on the ad saying “I wish I was having a girl so I could get this bag.” I’m not really big on the idea of items being gendered anyway, but with a diaper bag, I really don’t understand why it would matter?

The bag is yours, not the baby's. I don't see a point in needing a gendered diaper bag.

I got this one. I wanted something neutral for my husband and this bad ass bag is great for changing diapers in places that don't have changing tables or even filthy ones that i wasn't comfortable laying my son on.  And he slept in it very comfortably when we traveled. A safe place to sleep was one less worry when traveling.

Nope. It is especially illogical if you plan to have more than one child, since you don't know if they will be the same sex or not. It's a bag for you!

Mine is blue, grey, and black. I did have a boy, but blue is my favorite color. Would have gotten the same thing is I had a girl first.

No I have two boys my first son my bag was a really cute purple floral bag this time around my second son I have another purple floral bag but it’s a different shade my sons don’t care nor do I neither does my husband who carries it around.
