Cloth diapers ??

Question

Any recommendations on cloth diapers? We used disposable with our first only because I didn’t think I could keep up with cloth. After seeing how much money we spent and how much waste disposables created, I really want to try to take the plunge into cloth diapering this time around. Just wondering what brand other mamas are loving???

I haven’t used these before as this is my first baby but we’ll be trying out tidy tots! They come with bamboo inserts so you can just flush the bamboo insert and poo down the toilet 🙌🏼 (and then wash the rest of the pieces in the laundry machine)

I’d recommend terry squares/muslinz/prefolds with a wrap whilst baby is little. Then the btp pocket nappies are my favourite. Mama koala and baba and boo are some of my favourites at the moment, along with Littles and bloomz which are cheap on amazon. I’d recommend getting some hemp boosters for when baby is older and starts being a bit more of a heavier wetter. I’m currently using bamboo boosters with a hemp for my 1 year old and they lats a good 3/4 hours before changing.

I use Bum Genius all-in-ones and we love them. However, their liners are not the most absorbent on the market, so we started using disposables overnight when our daughter started sleeping through the night.

I love koala mama! They’re super cheap on amazon and I just buy bamboo inserts instead of the microfiber ones :)

We use bambino mio with my son but we're getting little lamb ones for the new baby because the bambino mio ones will be too big for a newborn.
