How far along should I be to take child-birthing classes?

I’m currently 20 weeks. My hospital is offering classes when I’m around 23 weeks. Is that too early??

I took mine at 25 weeks and luckily I did because my water broke at 30 weeks and I wouldn’t have been able to take a later one.

I was supposed to go to birthing classes at 33 weeks but I was in the hospital with my water broken instead lol

Nope never too early. I sighed up for an online birthing class around 29 weeks. Well around 35 weeks I ended up having my daughter due to preeclampsia. So 23 weeks will help better you just in case you might go into labor earlier than expected

I didn’t want to take them too early so I didn’t forget the info, but I didn’t wAnt to be about to pop either. I’m taking my breastfeeding class in beginning of March at 28 weeks and my CPR/infant class around 30 weeks.

With my pregnancy brain, it was better for me to take it closer to my due date, so I would actually remember everything.

Ever too early. With my daughter, I remember taking them in November, when my due date was in February. This time around I’m taking a breastfeeding class the end of March, when I’ll be 29ish weeks.
