I was put on Metformin 500mg in November 2018. It took my 6 months of being on it to get pregnant. My pregnancy has been great. No problems at all. My doctor left me on Metformin until I was out of the danger zone/first trimester.
TTC with Metformin
I don't have a normal period length because of my PCOS. I can go from 30 days-90days between periods and this has been happening for years. At my most recent trip to the OBGYN she started my on Metformin for my PCOS as some bloodwork came back that wasn't where it should be. She said that the Metformin should help my body regulate my period and help me and my SO have a baby.
I have several questions here. What is everyone's experience on Metformin? Did Metformin regulate your periods? How long did it take you to get pregnant? Was your pregnancy healthy?

Metformin did regulate my cycles but unfortunately I still didnt ovulate ( or at least not the time they did the blood tests) so i stopped taking it but I did continue to have regular cycles and eventually concieved on my own. We're ttc no 2 now so I'm looking at going back on it to regulate my cycles as a start
