High risk OB concerns

I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with a baby boy!! At my last appointment at 16 weeks, my doctor made an appointment for me to see a high risk doctor this week. He said it’s more like a consultation and he may keep me for the remainder of my pregnancy or I may just go back to my regular doctor instead. I’m really kind of nervous about whether or not he’s gonna keep me so I was hoping to have someone with similar experiences weigh in on what they think!

Background- I have had 3 miscarriages— one at 10 weeks, one at 16 weeks, and one at 4 weeks.

I do not know much about the pregnancy that I lost at 10 weeks, mostly because we lost the baby before our first appointment with our OB. I did however make it to an ultrasound place around 6 weeks, baby had a heart beat and looked healthy, but beside baby there was an empty sac that the ultrasound tech said may be a twin that didn’t develop. I bled my entire pregnancy so after we lost it, my doctor was concerned about a possible subchorionic hemorrhage, but it was never confirmed bc she was never able to see an ultrasound. (Pics of “second sac” that could’ve been the start of the hemorrhage, were never taken, just had pics of baby)

My baby at 16 weeks was delivered because my doctor was concerned about the risks associated with a D&C associated with a baby that size. After delivery, we noticed that he had a cleft palate, low set ears, only one arm, and only one leg. All of our genetic testing came back normal so no one can really tell me why it happened.

And the baby we lost at 4 weeks we obviously no nothing about. I had a “light period” and tested bc I thought that was weird— it was negative, two days later I spotted so I took another test and it was positive. 2 days later we were told I was miscarrying.

This pregnancy, I am on special vitamins, baby aspirin, and lovenox (blood thinner shots) for a possible clotting disorder (mthfr gene mutation that can lead to clots)
