So about 3 days ago I had some bleeding, it was at first an orange reddish colour, I also had lower back pain and pressure on the pelvis area, so I went it straight to the hospital to see if everything was okay. They examined me, done a lot of tests and I also had an ultrasound. By the time all this was done the bleeding calmed down and was more a light spotting, I also had no pain by this point which was about 5 hours after the bleeding had started. At the end the baby was perfectly fine which was a major relief but they couldn’t determine what caused it. So I was sent home due to having no pain and that myself, and bub were fine. I also had 3 tests that weren’t going to come back for another 48hrs so they said that there was no point keeping me in. I had my Morphology ultrasound yesterday which was going to be internal too, to check that everything was okay because at the Hostpital they couldn’t see my cervix because I just went to the toilet, but when the woman checked everything she said bub is perfect (also having a little boy) and my cervix is long and closed, with no blood vessel broken, so there was no need for internal at all. My drs appointment isn’t till tomorrow and I’m concerned because I still have spotting, it becomes more heavy and dark brown in the mornings, also when I do a poo, but every other time it’s like it not even there. I’m thinking of calling my midwife but I don’t know if she’s going to tell me to just wait for results when I see my dr at the hospital. Has anyone experienced this and can set my mind a little at ease?
