Starting clomid + husband with low sperm count

Hi ladies

I just started my period and starting clomid on day 3-7 this month (I ovulate normally but hoping to release more eggs / increase my chances.

But also just found out my husband has a low sperm count.

I suppose my question is, is there any use taking the clomid? Or will it still help increase our chances because I’ll hopefully release more eggs so maybe better chance for his sperm?

Still unsure how it works totally.
