spotting at a weird time ?

i’m spotting brown and dark brown and my period ended 7 days ago , is that normal ? i usually don’t spot after my period and my next period is due in 2 weeks, so i feel like it’s a weird time to be spotting ? i’ve been on the pill for over a year and have never taken it late , the last time i had sex was yesterday and that was the first time ive had sex since my last period
