Has anyone NOT had their baby’s lip tie removed?

What is it like for you? I can’t bring myself to see her in pain :( she’s 10 months!

Both my babies had lip ties. I EBF my oldest til 13mo, he's 2.5 now and no issues.
My youngest is 5mo and her liptie isn't causing any issues. 
If it isn't affecting their eating or speech, there's no reason to clip it!

Most drs don’t do anything about lip ties. Tongue ties cause issues with speech and eating most often but even then it’s not for sure going to be an issue. My son has a bad tongue time, he can’t stick his tongue out and it’s heart shaped but it didn’t cause issues with eating or speech so we’ve left it.

My son has one. He's 3 months old and he nurses fine. As long as there are no problems eating or speaking there's no reason to fix it. I myself have a lip tie. It hasn't caused any problems with my speech

Not getting it fixed could cause speech, eating, and dental problems for her later on. Watch her deal with a little pain now or risk a lot of pain later, you're the mama, it's up to you.

I think my 10.5 mo has one but it hasn’t caused any issues so far so I don’t plan on getting it removed
