Anyone else or getting a cerclage?

Long story short, due to my preterm labor my perinatologist says I will ge getting a cerclage as well as progesterone shots. So that this time around we can try and keep the baby tucked in safely until they're ready to be born to full term. Hoping and praying this time I get to hold my baby in my arms. Has anyone gone through this? What's the process and what week were you? Did you need someone at home with you for assistance on the day of? How did it feel? And did you end up going back to work after a few days or were you on complete bed rest? Any and all answers are truly appreciated to get me prepared. Thank you!
