So I stopped all medication including my birth control and lexipro back in November. I have always dealt with mild anxiety and depression, it has been manageable without medication up until the past couple of days. This was our first month of really trying (using opks and bbt), in my mind I knew I wasn’t likely to get a bfp first cycle, but I just couldn’t help getting my hopes up. So naturally when af showed up yesterday it really crushed me. I’ve been obsessively thinking about worst case scenarios and I know it is very likely that this will happen again in the future, probably multiple times. In my head I know it’s perfectly normal to take up to a year, I just don’t know if I can’t take this month after month without my meds to help. Has anyone taken lexipro or any other med while ttc? At this point I’m just thinking it might be worth the small risk, especially because my stress alone could hinder conceiving. Also welcoming any encouraging advice on ttc, and I mean advice on ANYTHING.
