Hey girls,

Ive been using the nuvaring for about 4 months now. Everything has been fine, the first month as expected there was more discharge than usual but i expected it. When I went to refill my prescription they gave me the new generic brand that just came out (Im really upset they didnt tell me either it was just a surprise) so I figured why not try it out, it’s basically the same. I have been using it for about 5 days now and it feels like the first time im using the nuvaring again but with 10x the amount of side affects and I want to give up because Im so uncomfortable.

Do any of you know if I can stay off of it for a month and go back on when I get the regular brand Nuvaring again? I just got off my period when I put the new one in and Im just worried Ill end up getting it again when i take it out because in all seriousness who wants their period lol.
