What does the hospital supply you with

Once the baby is born what all do they usually provide you with that is billed on insurance

Our hospital provided diapers, wipes, formula if used, receiving blankets, hats, and a suction bulb
For mamas they provide disposable underwear, pads, and numbing spray

My hospital gave us lots of things!
For the baby: 
• 1 onesie
• A nice warm swaddling type blanket that had  Velcro to put around the baby
• baby hat
• pacifier
• pack of newborn diapers 
• suction bulb
• hat
• 2 small light swaddling blankets 
For me:
• 4 mess panties
• a whole pack of big pads
• a squeeze bottle (so I didn’t have to wipe - I got stitches)
• witch-hazelnut pads 
• a numbing spray for down there 👇
• nipple pads
For my husband:
• blanket
• pillows
• unlimited snacks/drinks
• food vouchers for the cafeteria 
They also would’ve provided a pump, bathrobe  and formula if needed but I didn’t need it

In the uk we don’t get out used to get milk but not any more have to take own in

•Diaper cream- and extra medicated wound cream just incase it gets bad.
•body lotion
•Bottles to store milk in and nipples for feeding.
•Wipes
•sterile water for cleaning 
•clothing
•any medication (vitamin D and iron)
Mum
•humungous pads - as many as you need
•mesh underwear (id bring your own)
•cooling gel
That was all to take home with me.

Diapers, wipes, beanie, onesie, pacifier, bottle, formula if needed, breast pump to use while staying if needed, soap, lotion, recieving blankets. ( take the diapers!!! LOL I think we took about 3-4 packs of the newborn/premie. I have small babies and diapers ain’t cheap)
You’ll get pads and mesh undies to use and they’ll give you all the supplies you need to take care of any wound ( c-section or vaginal stitches care) breast pads, nipple cream, and I was also given like cooling pads for my breast as well. 
with my hospital the nurses are so sweet and they’ll come and give you like little hats that were made or jammies that were donated. 
My rule is it never hurts to ask for anything that you need. 9/10 the nurses are glad to try and find whatever it is that you need.

Diapers and wipes for the baby, and you’ll get pads (my hospital had 3 different sizes) mesh underwear, dermaplast spray, tucks pads, If you have hemorrhoids you’ll get a cream for that, two peri bottles, and some ice pack pads. The only things I actually used out of my hospital bag was toiletries and clothes.
