Help?! Brown spotting instead of AF

My period is 6 days late, I never ever spot but for the past few days I’ve had brown/pink/red spotting. It never falls onto my underwear or in the loo it’s only when I wipe or check. Has anyone ever had this before? Is this a light period ? Is it implantation bleeding. Also I should add I’ve had no cramps whatsoever or any kind of pain, when usually I suffer with extreme period pain.
