How important are midwifes

I just had mine ring. First hcg done by my doc 110

48 hrs hcg checked them again by her form she rings while I'm driving with my partner saying your hcg is 5 so your probably not pregnant if you want and are sure you are get more bloods is 48 hrs its up to you and then hung up.

Im shook like fck did she just say I had a miscarriage no sympathy or anything.. About a hr later rings back oh I read your results wrong the hcg was 320

If you want me to be your midwife I will.. Then hung up again

My towns so short on midwifes after this ordeal I don't feel comfortable with her 😭
