Do they automatically test for herpes while pregnant, if so when? I’ve had no symptoms. But my partner had a small bump and we weren’t sure that it matches the general description of herpes. But still wanted to be safe. I went and got tested after he noticed it (I have insurance and he does not and we always have unprotect sex) and it was negative. This was many many months ago. And I’m just paranoid (now that I’m pregnant and worry about EVERYTHING) that the last test could be wrong. Just wondering if herpes testing is part of routine tests, or if I should ask. Thanks!
