I’ve been struggling with full blown mastitis off & on for 2 weeks now. I’m talking red, inflamed boobs, fevers of 100.4, achy all over blah blah.

Tried keflex for 10 days - didn’t work. Now I’m on dicloxacillin for 14. I’m one day into that & I have it AGAIN in BOTH breasts.

I try to pump every 3hrs honest I do. But I was in tears last night and today while pumping because my nipples are so sore & I’m barely making 6oz total every 3hrs.

I’m thinking about switching to formula not only for my sanity but so I know babe is getting an adequate amount to eat.

I should mention he will nurse but is terrible at latching so pumping is my main source.

Any insight would be helpful!
