Okay so this guy I’ve been talking to since November, we have shown and said that we like each other multiple times. But I informed him his friend drunk messaged me a few days ago trying to hang out and getting me to stay the night with him, I rejected it bluntly to his friend and I told him the very next morning. His response was short like “oh okay, thank you for telling me.” I did tell him I wouldn’t had felt right if I didn’t say anything to him he said “I completely understand, thank you.” Ever since then (that was Sunday) he has still been talking just nowhere near as much. I haven’t done anything wrong, I didn’t lie or hide anything I was showing him respect and that I care by actually telling him about what his friend was attempting to do. I know if it was me I would be pissed but that’s an issue between him and his friend. So what do I do? I opened his last message late last night, I haven’t responded yet and he knows I was up even after I didn’t reply. I just don’t know what to say or how to approach the situation. I don’t want to piss him off or be that “clingy” type of girl. But obviously there’s something wrong and if there’s an issue then it needs to be verbally addressed but in the right way.
