UPDATE:

So I have a gestational sac and am actually only 5 weeks 6 days. It is showing as 5 weeks 1 day. She said my numbers were great initially and that my numbers what they are now match what the ultrasound shows. It was too early to see anything else. I go back in a week and it can either progress or not but right now based on my ultrasound I’m not miscarrying. She said to even ignore the numbers, no more testing the HCG, everything will be based off the ultrasound! So please momma’s prayers that my little jelly bean still progresses and next week I see more development!

So to those who have been following my number posts about my HCG I have an update. For those who haven’t I’ll recap.

My first HCG beta was done at 3 weeks and 6 days and was a standing order due to a previous ectopic pregnancy. I went every other day with rising levels.

It was 101-243-456-1142. The doctor said everything was perfect and that we could do once a week instead of every other day. I had a yeast infection and used monistat 3 which made my discharge a pale yellow so they brought me in for some cultures on 02/11 (my last draw was the day before and 7 days between the two betas). There was no infection but my levels only went from 1142-3330 in a week. Which even if it took 96 hours to double was still over that by 12 hours (took 108 hours to double). So they wanted me to do another HCG draw and moved my ultrasound from 02/27 up to 02/17.

I called this morning and my HCG beta only went up to 3786. Only 430 in 48 hours. 😢 They’ve now put me in for an emergency ultrasound today at 3:15pm.

Ladies I’m still clinging to hope but I think I’m having a miscarriage.

My ectopic was before I had any of my children (so I we 13 years ago as it was 2 years before I had my oldest). Other than that I’ve had a chemical where I got a positive and before I could even process it (literally like 12-24 hours later) I got my period.

I’ve had NO cramping, no spotting, no drops in symptoms so I guess this would be considered a MMC. Unless there’s some miracle.

I’m praying my husband will want to try as soon as we’re able and maybe we can still have our 2020 baby.

I’ll post whatever happens at the ultrasound.
