Should i get a Doc a tot?

Hi, soon to be mama here🙋🏼‍♀️ 
Someone I know recommended the Doc a tot. Then I looked them up and they are SO expensive. At least I think so for what they are. Is there a cheaper alternative? What is special about the doc a tot??? I don’t think I understand honestly lol

Snuggle me is cheaper. My daughter only used the dockatot for 3 months. It’s not rated for safe sleeping, so you can only use it as a lounger or watch them when they nap in it.

It’s a pointless item in my eyes I had a pack n play with a bassinet attachment that I used it also detached from the pack n play so I could put him in any room I was in

Hubby got me the snuggle me organic when it was on sale for Black Friday that or the boppy lounger are cheaper alternatives that are basically the same thing

We used ours a lot. It was nice to be able to have baby in a safe spot when he was younger. There are definitely some alternatives out there though if you’re looking to spend less. You can also find used ones.
