My boyfriend is going to Germany for about 3 months will he get paid more?

We both have a 10 month old daughter together  and he is station in AZ. He will be going to Germany soon with his company and I was wondering if he will be getting paid extra? He has our daughter as his dependent and said that he will be getting about $200 dollars more. Is this true?

Yes he will get paid more because he will be separated from a dependent. However, depending on why he is going to Germany he could very well get paid more than just the $200 for separation. My husband is currently deployed and gets paid a few other things other than separation pay. Your boyfriend might get something called Perdium which is for the cost of living in Germany and that can range in allowance as well.
