Job and bed rest

My doctor put me on bed rest from 13-16 weeks because I was fainting a lot and I had high blood pressure. My problem is my job won’t approve my leave of absence for it because they day I don’t have enough time accumulated to leave. I have a doctors note, but they said it’s like having the flu and it’s not a continuous leave only a week before I accumulate enough point to terminate me. Every day I miss I get 1 point. I now have like 13.🙄 what should I do?

How long have you worked there? Like everyone else is saying if you qualify for fmla that would help save your job. If you don’t, honestly I’d probably let them fire me and then collect unemployment until I can find a new job.

Unfortunately, at 4 months you will not qualify for FMLA. Most requires the minimum of 1 years or xx amount of hours.

Do you qualify for FMLA or short term disability? It can cut into your maternity leave later but possibly save your job now. Are you in at an will state? Union?

Fmla? And you have a doctors note so your fine. You could fight em and say wrongdul termination if theybterminate you when your written off pr drs orders
