Update: Finished remaking my moms quilt

When I had first showed interest in sewing my mom was making this quilt. Over the years it developed some holes and was falling apart. My mom even asked me why I hadnt thrown it away 🙄 it meant too much to me, so I ripped out all the seams and I've trimmed it down and started putting it back together. It's gone from a full to a twin for sure, but I think I'm going to go find a dark pink to match the stripes and add a boarder to it just for some extra color. This time I want to get it professionally quilted so it holds up through another 20 years of washes. One day I hope to pass it down to my daughter too.
