Weaning from BF

What’s the obsession with getting baby off of breast so fast? “Oh my baby just turned a year. I need to wean him/her ASAP”. I’m just wondering why everyone is so quick to get baby off breast.

ETA: I just wanted to add, I’m not judging. I’m just legitimately curious as to reasoning. I didn’t BF my first and I have a lot of guilt from that so I think I’m trying to make up for that with my second.
