What are these bumps on his legs?

My 16 month old has these bumps on both of his legs. They look skin colored/pink maybe even red

They don’t seem to be itching him.

There are a few more bumps then yesterday so it spreading but it hasn’t spread to myself or my husband. He’s had the bumps for maybe a week. Does anyone know what they could possible be? I made a drs appointment but they can’t see him for another week 1/2
